We use FSC* thermally modified timber cladding from Abodo to comply with the strict sustainability criteria of the Ecovillage. Low maintenance, termite resistant and with a warranty of 25 years, Vulcan timber cladding is one of the most sustainable building materials available and sequesters carbon for the lifetime of the building.

Scyon ‘Axon’ F/C Cladding

The Scyon ‘Axon’ range of fibre cement cladding has been accepted by the Ecovillage as satisfying he strict criteria of the Design Guidelines and having a detailed EPD* demonstrating life cycle and sustainability.. Reminiscent of rural barns in the area, the Axon cladding is painted and has a warranty of 25 years. It is also fire rated up to a BAL 40 making it suitable for any lot within the Ecovillage
